~Brandin 704-2 'Like Leonard ACM'; 2pc/2 tips 3 oz for #4 line. This is a solid hexagonal rod built for my own pleasure in 2021 because of my liking for this particular model from Leonard that was introduced in 1955. It is a wonderful rod for smaller streams with a relaxed casting stroke and a unique offering from my bench as I will likely never make another with my now very limited output and health situation. It is the only rod I have ever mounted with a 'Masur-Björk' reel-seat filler. This is a genetic variation of birch that was sent to me many years ago from my native Sweden and I feel it is very pretty indeed. Cane is straw color adequately heat treated unlike some of the Leonards and wraps are treated with shellac and then varnished over in a nod to the look of 1950's Leonards. Offered in original labeled brass / aluminum tube, rod bag and outer rod tube bag and in mint original condition, lawn cast only. For domestic sale only. SOLD
