Brandin 836/7-3
~Brandin 836/7-3 LS/S (light salmon / steelhead); 8'3" 3pc/4 tips for a #6 or 7 line, semi-hollow hexagonal rod. I made this rod for my own use, primarily in Newfoundland for salmon and grilse in 2018. I did take some salmon on it but the rod remains in excellent+ condition throughout. For me it is best with a #7 line. It has two lighter tips which I prefer when fishing smaller flies on a dry line, and two heavier tips better with sink tips and somewhat larger flies. It has a detachable fighting butt and a butt cap inspired by the F.E. Thomas 'streamer rods.' Wraps are brown over flamed cane, stripper guide agate and titanium carbide snake guides. A smooth and comfortable action in this shorter length and with its full hollow built construction, very easy to swing all day. In original bag, labeled tube and outer tube bag with pocket for fighting butt, ferrule plugs and fighting butt. SOLDÂ Click on smaller images to enlarge
