~H.L. Leonard 7 ft one piece 2⅝ oz (actual weight a hair less). It is very rare to find these pre-fire one piece Leonards and this one remains in excellent condition throughout. One of the difficulties with a one piece rod is protecting the delicate tip in transport and the folks at Leonard came up with a very practical solution. They built the rod tube in such a way that the handle of the rod is suspended by the narrowing internal dimension of the tapered aluminum tube in such a way that it is impossible for the tip to get jammed against the end of the tube. It has the unusual blued hardware like the 'Hunt' series Leonards. Rod feels like it will like a #3 line and is fast in action with an active tip.
