~William Mills & Son / Dingley reel 4¼ inches across frame. This is a large, charming reel that would work well on two hand rods wanting a reel with fair line capacity. It is the caged spool design distinctively built by Dingley for William Mills & Son in New York and it weighs 11.3 oz. The click is strong and is equal in both directions, so reel can be used either LHW or RHW. There is a fully functional roller positioned as if to be used in RHW and "rings up." Most leading remains and condition overall is at least very good and perfect functionally. Reel foot is original and unmolested, but does have a small dent at one corner, barely visible in the photos. I fish a small 3” trout version of this reel and find it very pleasant on the water.
