Brandin 763-2df HB 'Mahogany'
Brandin 763-2df HB 'Mahogany' (quad); 7½ ft 2pc/2 tips, 2⅝ oz best with DT3 or WF4 lines. This very desirable 'Mahogany' finished version of this model comes from my personal collection, having been completed in 2021. It is about as pretty an example of my work as you will find and is a sweet, positive casting rod. It has been lawn cast only and remains in essentially mint condition. The grip is an unusual blunt cigar and the reel-seat filler is Spanish Cedar under blued n/s cap and band. The only flaws are that the butt cap pin is not entirely flush and there is a small round sheen in the varnish on one tip; both these flaws are included and visible in the photographs but are hard to spot and inconsequential. Comes with ferrule plug, original bag with ferrule plug storage pocket, labeled brass / aluminum capped tube and outer tube bag.
