Leonard 9 ft. 3pc/2 tips. This rod has been completely refurbished a long time ago. Whoever did the work did so well, though with little attention to keeping originality. The varnish is excellent and the wraps have that old time 'starved' look, but the bright ferrules should not be covered with varnish. Action is slow, wet fly. Butt ferrules are patent dated and all ferrule fits and quality are good. Work on the bamboo is particularly good with very small, tight nodes. I have been told the reel-seat is a Heddon.
