H.L. Leonard model 40H, 8 ft. 2pc/2 tips 4⅜ oz. This Leonard from the 1970's will make a very nice grilse or heavy trout rod and it remains in excellent condition throughout. It was built for a #7 line according to the tube label, so an eight foot rod on the strong side. In original bag with stiffener sewn in and labeled brass capped Leonard tube. I don't know that I have ever seen this model from this era, so am guessing not many were built.
