Dickerson 102014 Salmon Rod
Dickerson 102014 Salmon Rod, 10 ft. 3pc/2 tips. This is quite an unusual model from this iconic American builder and would be a good choice for casting larger wet flies for salmon or steelhead. I would have to describe the action as slow, particularly for this maker known for faster actions. Condition is at least very good with some attention needed in a few places to the original varnish, though overall the finish is quite good. Cork grip is smooth showing no ridging from age. Rod is straight with the exception of very slight downward sweeps to the tips. Ferrule fits are good. There is no plug for the end of the reel-seat when the fighting butt is not installed.
