Orvis CFO IV Multiplier (made by Hardy). This is the early two-screw line guard version of this hard to find reel. Condition is good though as seen in the photo the latch plate shows tarnish from age. It turns true though a touch stiff; certainly completely functional and ready to fish. I always thought I would hate fishing multiplier reels, but then my friend Chris Vance gave me a CFO III multiplier and I was pleasantly surprised how nicely it handled line. They do bring line in faster when a fish runs right at you! I will soon be listing another CFO III Multiplier also from my own collection. This reel comes with a matched extra spool, original suede / faux sheepskin case and paper (not pictured).
