Granger (Goodwin & Wright & McGill)
~Granger Deluxe W&M 7 ft, 2pc/2 tips, #4 line. This highly desirable model remains in excellent original condition and the elegantly dark shafts and fancy wraps make it one of the prettiest of classic western rods. It has the 'hammer grip' which I find very comfortable also showing unusually good quality cork. It looks to have been perhaps very carefully used, if at all, and remains straight as a pin. Customary n/s up-locking patented Granger reel-seat that functions so well. The rod bag looks to be of the correct material, though I cannot vouch for its originality as I have not seen a leather tab attached to other Granger rod bags I have handled, and the top seam is rolled out, not in as I believe is customary for Granger bags.
