~H.L. Leonard (pre-fire) model 50 DF, 8 ft 3pc/2 tips (one barely short), 3⅞ oz. Likely the most popular trout rod model from Leonard in the heyday of bamboo, and there is a reason for that. This rod has seen use, but remains straight and true with the second tip just barely short by about ½ inch. Ferrule fits are perfect and the rod remains in very good + condition overall with original varnish without need for attention. Action I would say is a touch slower than I have seen on other 50DF's, but they do vary and I've always found this model to be very smooth and pleasant.
