~Hardy Perfect 1896 check 2½ inch fly reel. This diminutive fly reel with triple stamping is rare indeed. Very little spool play and reel is certainly usable though well over 100 years old. With its wide spool, this reel should hold a #3 line or lighter and would be class on a light line bamboo rod. Smooth brass foot is unmolested and reel comes in a Farlow leather case with room to spare.
