~Brandin 802-2 'GMS'; 8 ft 2pc/2 tips, 2½ oz semi-hollow hexagonal rod for #2 line. 'GMS' stands for Galen Mercer Special as he urged me to build a rod such as this one and we went through a number of prototypes before arriving at this final design. This rod surprised me with its versatility when I started fishing it; not only the narrowly focused design one may expect. A very smooth casting rod with DT2 or TT2 line and capable in the right hands of handling large trout to well over 20 inches.
