Mario Wojnicki 265 F8
~Mario Wojnicki 265 F8; 8'8" 2pc/1 tip semi-hollow six strip dry fly steelhead rod. This rod was originally built for Mario's own use steelhead fishing in British Columbia, but a friend talked him out of it years ago. Mario and I each arrived at about 8'8" or 8'9" as our ideal length for our dry fly steelhead fishing and this is an example of such a rod with Mario's typical semi-parabolic action that works so well. I find it best with a WF7 line which is also the line weight we agreed on as the best for that fishing. It has the typical short permanent fighting butt which moves the reel just far enough from the body when playing a fish. Rod has seen use, but with only the expected minor signs of that; I would describe condition as excellent. Here is a chance to own and fish a great bamboo steelhead rod for very little money.
