~Marty Karstetter 8'3" 2pc/2 tips, 3½ oz (on rod shaft) for #5 line. Marty is an old friend, our paths having crossed at Bob Clay's place on the Kispiox River in BC in the 1990's and he is also one of the early practitioners of modern hollow-built rods that evolved from the work of Lew Stoner and E.C. Powell. He now lives in Alaska and I don't know as he is any longer producing any number of rods. This one is in carefully used condition, it's owner being the writer Tom McGuane, is straight and true and a nice, smooth caster with its designated line. A perfect all around trout rod for a wide range of conditions encountered on medium to large rivers. In original bag and tube with Karstetter logo. SOLD
