~Dickerson 7613; 7½ ft 2pc/2 tips 4 oz. This rod was built in 1964 for Kenneth W. Cunningham and remains in excellent condition with all sections full length, straight and true with excellent ferrule fits. I believe this fast action rod happy with a DT5 or WF6 line has seen little use over these many years. Casting it I find it has instantaneous smooth power in close and with more than enough butt for pushing a long line: certainly an impressive caster. In my experience it is unusual to find a fast action rod that also is smooth and has great feel; this is such a rod. It has the expected reverse half Wells grip, down-locking reel-seat with walnut spacer and bent wire hook-keeper. Bluing on ferrules looks to have been re-done at some time in the past and there may be some varnish touch-up in places. In original light olive bag and original tube with black plastic cap. SOLD
