It feels to me like it will handle a #4 line in typical smooth Granger fashion. The original brown butcher paper wraps around the desirable black Granger tube which I believe is the same style tube used on the Registered model. Reel-seat is the n/s up-locking patented seat that functions so well and is distinctive to Granger rods. A very pretty rod indeed with its dark caramel shafts offset against the lime green wraps.
