One of the details I love about the Tom Morgan graphite and glass rods is the little nickel silver ring that re-enforces the lip of the tip at the ferrule; such a lovely and very practical touch. This one has been used by its owner Tom McGuane and remains in good condition, though the reel-seat has only the thinnest of oil finish left; this can be touched up with a few coats of True Oil by its new owner as this is the original finish Tom used on reel-seat fillers.
