~Ken Crocker 8½ ft 2pc/2 tips salmon rod with detachable fighting butt. This lesser known maker built rods during the golden age of bamboo and produced a quality, well built rod that has served a mostly New England following well for years. This has a rather fast action and feels to me like it would be happy with a #7 or 8 WF line. Rod is straight with good ferrule fits, with good varnish ready to fish, though I would be careful with the fighting butt as its ferrule fit is quite loose. If you have never fished salmon or grilse with bamboo, here is your chance for very little money; this rod will fish well and carries a bit of Rangely, Maine history as well. In original bag & tube.
